An Irish Family Vacation

We were so excited to have Daniel’s parents join us for Dublin and Paris (Hi, Mom!)

Our time in Ireland was one of the highlights of our time together.

Of course, our first stop was the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, where we had a taste of some savory brews. The tanned gentleman and his trusted horse taxied us away from the Storehouse after several pints were consumed.

But drinking beer wasn’t our bravest moment…no. We actually escaped the city into the countryside.

We bussed to Northern Ireland to see the countryside and ooh and ahh at the scenery. Before reaching our destination, though, we stopped to play on some dangerous cliffs.

We then crossed over the 66 feet of wobbly wooden boards that make up the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, which also hovers about 100 feet above the rocks and ocean below.

The final stop was Giant’s Causeway. We are convinced this area was obviously created by giant aliens.

We definitely recommend visiting this place, where adults are allowed to play on rocks without any judgment from anyone!

And now we continue on with our travels through Europe. We can only hope to find views as amazing as the Irish coast.
